Role Overview
The Talos Test will play a key role in supporting various accountancy functions within the company.
This position requires a detail-oriented and proactive individual who can contribute to the accuracy and efficiency of our financial processes.
You will be part of a collaborative team that values integrity, precision, and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation and analysis of financial statements and reports.
- Support month-end and year-end closing activities ensuring compliance with accounting standards.
- Perform reconciliations of accounts and investigate discrepancies.
- Maintain accurate and organised financial records and documentation.
- Collaborate with internal teams to streamline accounting processes and improve reporting accuracy.
- Assist with audits and provide necessary documentation and explanations as required.
- Stay up to date with relevant accounting regulations and best practices.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the finance department.
Qualifications & Skills
- Educated to A-level standard or equivalent; a degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is desirable.
- Previous experience in an accountancy role or finance department is advantageous.
- Strong numeracy and analytical skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
- Familiarity with accounting software and financial systems is a plus.
- Excellent organisational and time management abilities.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
