Langley House Trust is seeking a committed and creative Care Team Leader to join our supportive team in Coventry. This is a full-time, permanent position offering 37.5 hours per week and a competitive salary of £29,613 per annum. In this leadership role, you'll guide and support a dedicated care team, ensuring high-quality, client-focused care throughout the night. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assisting the on-site management team in supervising all care staff and monitoring the care given to our clients.
  • Spend time with clients and monitor service standards.
  • Conduct regular key working sessions with allocated clients and enable them to participate fully in the life of the service, including clients’ meetings.
  • Helping clients achieve the aims of their support plan.
  • To maintain a clear and calm manner whilst managing client risk through assessment, planning, client knowledge and de-escalation as required.
  • Helping induct, train, and supervise colleagues and junior members of staff in all aspects of their work in the Home.
  • Writing, updating, and maintaining clients' Care Plans.
  • Completion of documentation, referrals and returns where necessary.
  • Liaising with necessary internal/external stakeholders, specialists and agencies keeping them up to date with progress of applications/referrals.
