We have a fantastic opportunity for a Part-time Permanent Activities Coordinator to join our team based in our care home in Fleetwood on a permanent basis, working 24 hours per week. This may include some weekend working.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

As anActivities Coordinator,you will work as part of our team in a service for Clients in the achievement of the Trusts aims and objectives.

  • Working with each new client to understand their likes/dislikes, abilities and needs to put together an individual care plan pathway for activities. This will be kept up to date and reviewed regularly.
  • Formulating and maintaining a stimulating programme of activities for groups of clients and for individuals, taking into consideration special individual requirements.
  • Engaging clients daily lives within the community by initiating contact with local community groups.
  • Liaising and consulting with staff, external agencies and relatives in relation to activities
  • Ensuring the activity and social programme are accessible to all and it incorporates evenings and weekends.
  • Familiarising and connecting with all key community groups.
  • Regularly assessing the effectiveness of social events and the activities programme.
  • Effectively risk assess internal and external activities.
  • Ensuring the programme of activities is within the allocated budget.
