They are seeking an experienced Global Procurement Manager - IT to join their London-based Group Procurement team during an exciting period of transformation. Position Overview
This role sits at the heart of our client's global finance transformation programme. You will manage end-to-end procurement for IT categories including software, cloud infrastructure, and hardware, working across multiple regions to secure optimal deals and manage supplier performance. Your focus on benefits delivery, risk mitigation, and sustainable sourcing will directly support the organisation's digital strategy whilst strengthening their control environment and operational efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Lead sourcing and contracting projects across software, SaaS, hardware, cloud, and infrastructure categories
- Negotiate with suppliers to secure value-for-money deals aligned with digital strategy and business objectives
- Conduct vendor due diligence and manage supplier relationships to ensure quality and compliance
- Review contracts, manage performance, and handle renewals whilst mitigating risks including data security and GDPR
- Collaborate with technical teams, Legal, and Finance to execute supplier agreements and maintain records
- Build stakeholder relationships across the organisation, acting as category expert and trusted advisor
- Embed sustainability and social responsibility into procurement practices supporting carbon reduction goals
- Report progress and drive improvements in cost, quality, risk management, and supplier partnerships
Requirements
- Proven experience negotiating within IT procurement (software, cloud, infrastructure, hardware) in professional services or adjacent sectors
- Multi-regional exposure and demonstrated knowledge of best practice procurement, negotiation, and contracting approaches
- Strong understanding of IT category contracts with ability to articulate and negotiate key risks and requirements
- Clear focus on demonstrating procurement value and delivering measurable benefits
- Proficiency using procurement technology to drive efficiency and improve processes
- BSc qualification and professional membership (MCIPS) or equivalent desirable
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills across technical and commercial teams
