My client, a high profile Public Sector organisation, are currently recruiting into a Senior Category Manager / Commercial Lead level role in the Digital, Data and Technology space.
Working within a strategic commercial environment, the successful candidate will be responsible for leading a team and hands-on delivery of innovative category strategies, procurement / sourcing and contract management across the DDaT spend areas – software and infrastructure.
This role has two direct reports, and my client is looking for candidates who will bring a coaching / mentoring leadership approach, in what is a L&D focussed environment.
The successful candidate will ideally bring a blend of the following: –
- Background of developing innovative category strategies and/or contract management / supplier relationship management (SRM) protocols that deliver high quality commercial outcomes and value for money
- Experience of procuring / contract managing large complex digital, data and technology (DDaT) related services / goods in fast paced and dynamic environment
- Leadership / Management experience, ideally gained from working within a CPD / L&D culture.
- Public Sector PA23 / PCR2015 procurement experience is a desirable
