About the Role
We’re looking for a skilled and proactive Business Analyst to analyse system-based business processes, identify inefficiencies, and assist in implementing technology solutions that significantly enhance operational efficiency. You’ll play a critical role in collaborating with internal and external stakeholders, developing detailed requirements, and ensuring that proposed solutions are delivered effectively.
What You’ll Do
- Collaborate with service, system, and process owners to deeply understand their needs and requirements.
- Analyse business processes and workflows to pinpoint inefficiencies and areas for improvement.
- Develop detailed business cases, clearly specifying requirements and functional specifications for IT projects.
- Work with IT team members and vendors to design and implement robust technology solutions.
- Conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to ensure solutions meet all business requirements.
- Monitor and evaluate the performance of implemented solutions, ensuring they meet the objectives outlined in approved business cases.
- Prepare and present comprehensive reports and documentation to all stakeholders.
- Create and maintain business analysis and continual improvement processes, promoting efficient use of current technology and adopting new solutions where appropriate, in collaboration with the Head of Business Intelligence & Systems.
About You
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst, ideally within a law firm or legal environment.
- Strong understanding of business processes and workflow analysis.
- Proficiency in business analysis tools and software.
- Ability to work independently and seamlessly as part of a team.
- Knowledge of legal industry practices and terminology, including applications like IntApp, Elite 3e, and iManage.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail and strong stakeholder management skills.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving, continual improvement, and communication.
