IT Hardware, Logistics & Procurement Manager required to take ownership of end-to-end hardware operations, procurement and vendor management in a retail company with 700 stores spread globally paying up to £50,000 + bonus.

You’ll be joining an established retail group with over 700 stores and operational sites across the UK, Europe, Asia, Australia and beyond. The company has been trading for more than 40 years and owns numerous popular high-street brands, including one in fashion. With a strong focus on innovation and operational excellence, this business invests heavily in technology, hardware operations and IT processes to support its growing network of stores and users.

The Role – What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Lead the IT Hardware team, mentoring, developing and supporting staff to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
  • Oversee procurement and vendor management, including contracts, negotiations, KPIs, SLAs and quarterly reviews.
  • Ensure all hardware — from servers and WiFi routers to EPoS systems and card machines — is configured, tested and ready for deployment.
  • Manage RMA workflows, hardware lifecycle refreshes, replacements and reverse logistics.
  • Work closely with Field Engineers to deliver new store openings, refits and equipment projects on time.
  • Maintain rigorous stock and warehouse control for all hardware, ensuring compliance with company standards.
  • Identify and test new hardware to support future technology needs and process improvements.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to implement process improvements and shape IT hardware operations.

This role is fully office-based due to its hands-on responsibilities in the technical lab and logistics operation. Occasional site visits may be required.
