Pay Range

Base pay: up to £50,000 plus bonus. Final salary will be based on skills and experience.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the IT hardware team – mentor, develop and support staff for smooth day‑to‑day operations.
  • Oversee procurement and vendor management, including contracts, negotiations, KPIs, SLAs and quarterly reviews.
  • Ensure all hardware – servers, Wi‑Fi routers, ePOS systems and card machines – is configured, tested and ready for deployment.
  • Manage RMA workflows, hardware lifecycle refreshes, replacements and reverse logistics.
  • Work closely with Field Engineers to deliver new store openings, refits and equipment projects on time.
  • Maintain rigorous stock and warehouse control for all hardware, ensuring compliance with company standards.
  • Identify and test new hardware to support future technology needs and process improvements.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to implement process improvements and shape IT hardware operations.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Experience in IT hardware engineering, procurement and logistics.
  • Strong understanding of hardware lifecycle management.
  • Proven leadership, people‑management and project‑management skills.
  • Ability to negotiate vendor contracts and manage KPIs.
  • Familiarity with retail hardware deployment (e.g., ePOS, Wi‑Fi, servers).
