Responsibilities
- Lead the IT hardware team – mentor, develop and support staff for smooth day‑to‑day operations.
- Oversee procurement and vendor management, including contracts, negotiations, KPIs, SLAs and quarterly reviews.
- Ensure all hardware – servers, Wi‑Fi routers, ePOS systems and card machines – is configured, tested and ready for deployment.
- Manage RMA workflows, hardware lifecycle refreshes, replacements and reverse logistics.
- Work closely with Field Engineers to deliver new store openings, refits and equipment projects on time.
- Maintain rigorous stock and warehouse control for all hardware, ensuring compliance with company standards.
- Identify and test new hardware to support future technology needs and process improvements.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to implement process improvements and shape IT hardware operations.
Qualifications & Experience
- Experience in IT hardware engineering, procurement and logistics.
- Strong understanding of hardware lifecycle management.
- Proven leadership, people‑management and project‑management skills.
- Ability to negotiate vendor contracts and manage KPIs.
- Familiarity with retail hardware deployment (e.g., ePOS, Wi‑Fi, servers).
