Service Desk Engineer required by a reputable professional services firm paying up to 40k, the working hours being 10am to 6pm at their head office based in central London. The Company, who have a presence globally, are seeking an IT Support Specialist to provide technology related consultation and support in an office environment, including the deployment, administration and support of technology systems essential to business operations.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive computer Hardware and Software support
  • Manage Hardware asset inventory
  • Execute system set-ups, breakdowns, and office moves
  • Handle conference room services, mobile devices, telephone systems, and voicemail support
  • Track user support requests and elevate complex issues
  • Proactively identify and address technology‑related challenges
  • Conduct preventative maintenance and procure technology supplies
  • Collaborate with IT vendors, other departments, and core IT teams on projects
  • Recognise and recommend training opportunities

Skills & Competencies:

  • Proficient in Windows 11, Microsoft O365 ProPlus Suite
  • Strong troubleshooting skills for hardware and software
  • Experience with mobile devices, printers, scanners, and peripherals
  • Familiarity with law firm tools and networking devices
  • Proficient in remote access tools (Citrix, Global Protect VPN, Remote Desktop)
  • Previous use of trouble ticket tracking systems
  • Detail‑oriented with excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Adaptability to a fast‑paced, changing environment
