Business Analyst, Technical; SE London

Full-Time On-site

Business Analyst (Technical) required by an established organisation to join its IT team at its head office in South East London, easy access by public transport and parking. You'll be the link between users and technology, turning business needs into clear requirements and seeing change through to adoption.

You'll lead the business side of a CRM migration with a fixed cut off next year, and help drive AI adoption across the business.

Hybrid with at least 50% in a busy, well appointed head office, with a competitive package.

The team

IT is a close team of fewer than 10: a Service Desk, and a Systems and Applications Developer who works with vendors and tailors the business applications often with in house coding in No Code - Low Code or Python.

You'll be the face of the team to the business. You'll work with users and stakeholders to find out what matters to them and how their applications can serve them better.

Why now

The business is replacing its CRM system, with a fixed cut off date next year. You'll lead the business side of that move: change management, user acceptance testing and making sure people are ready on day one.

AI adoption is a major priority, and this role will be a driving force behind it. You'll help the business identify where AI can make a real difference, and support people as they take it on.

What you'll do

  • Analyse existing processes and find ways to improve, simplify or automate them
  • Gather, analyse and document business and technical requirements, including functional specifications, user stories and acceptance criteria
  • Act as the link between business stakeholders, the internal technical team and external suppliers
  • Manage and prioritise the business systems and development backlog with the Head of IT
  • Lead change management and user acceptance testing for the CRM migration
  • Help drive AI adoption across the business

What you'll bring

  • Proven Business Analyst experience on applications or software development projects
  • Strong organisation, with the judgement to prioritise competing projects and keep them moving
  • Confidence working with users at every level, from the front line to senior stakeholders
  • Experience writing user stories, acceptance criteria and functional specifications
  • A practical approach to change, where adoption matters as much as delivery
  • Curiosity about AI and how it can be applied in a business setting

The package

  • Competitive salary and benefits
  • Hybrid working, with at least 50% of your time in a busy, well appointed head office, easy access from the station and nearby parking
