Lead with Compassion, Care Through the Night – Make a Real Impact at Langley! Langley Trust is seeking a committed and creative Night Care Team Leader to join our supportive team in Gillingham. This is a full-time, permanent position offering 37.5 hours per week, 12.5 hour shifts (including weekends), and a competitive salary of £30,650.50 per annum. This role will include being part of the on-call rota. In this leadership role, you'll guide and support a dedicated care team, ensuring high-quality, client-focused care throughout the night. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assisting the on-site management team in supervising all care staff and monitoring the care given to our clients. Spend time with clients and monitor service standards.
- Conduct regular key working sessions with allocated clients and enable them to participate fully in the life of the service, including clients’ meetings. Helping clients achieve the aims of their support plan.
- To maintain a clear and calm manner whilst managing client risk through assessment, planning, client knowledge and de-escalation as required.
- Helping induct, train, and supervise colleagues and junior members of staff in all aspects of their work in the Home.
- Writing, updating, and maintaining clients Care Plans.
- Completion of documentation, referrals and returns where necessary.
- Liaising with necessary internal / external stakeholders, specialist and agencies keeping them up to date with progress of applications / referrals.
