This is an exciting opportunity for a Project Director to join an established and growing agency as the first member of the project management team to sit within the Public Relations business unit. We need someone adaptable, ambitious, pioneering, and influential, setting up new ways of working and building a consistency of approach within the discipline. Making sure we are financially aware, have the right resource in place and are hitting our deadlines. The role also helps manage workloads, mentors less experienced team members and always promotes delivery excellence.
To be successful as part of our newly evolving environment you have to be up for that challenge, be self-motivated, have ideas about ways of working whilst balancing agility to support the fast pace of the team.
Responsibilities
- Partner with account leads on how to approach a given programme of work or project
- Build relationships easily across all levels of the business
- Create accurate scopes of work, resourcing plans and timelines for projects
- Provide project governance oversight and support to the leadership team
- Work with business leads to establish a suitable resourcing model for our growing social media team
- Track the financial health of clients through burn reports and reconciliations
- Support other team members with reports, tracking and administration tasks
- Manage resource bookings for key projects and new business asks
- Highlight risks and provide solutions
- Ensure project delivery always remains on track
- Change ways of working and suggest improvements
- Support, mentor and lead other team members
Qualifications
- Extensive experience within project management
- Extensive experience working within a healthcare/pharma advertising or comms agency environment
- A proven ability to get up to speed with new deliverables quickly
- Experience leading large multi-faceted clients and project teams
- Extensive experience of the full project lifecycle ranging from client brief through strategy, creative, design, copywriting, asset creation, production, execution and delivery
- Experience partnering with client service teams on new business proposals
Please note: Publicis Groupe operates a hybrid working pattern with full time employees being office-based three days during the working week.
