Our client, who are based on the outskirts of Norwich, are an established automotive technology company with a global client base. They are looking to add a Junior–Mid Level C# / .NET Developer to their growing development team. This is a hands-on role focused on building and maintaining .NET-based desktop applications using WPF and MVVM. You’ll work closely with other engineers in a collaborative environment, contributing to well-designed, maintainable software.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain C#/.NET (.NET Core) applications
- Design and build WPF user interfaces using the MVVM pattern
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code
- Apply object-oriented principles and recognised design patterns
- Participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback
- Collaborate closely with the wider software and engineering teams
Requirements:
Essential
- 1+ years’ experience as a .NET/C# Developer
- Strong understanding of C#, .NET/.NET Core, and OOP
- Good working knowledge of WPF development using MVVM
- Detail-oriented with a focus on high-quality software delivery
- Clear communication skills and a collaborative mindset
- Understanding of software development best practices and design patterns
- BSc in a relevant technical or engineering discipline
Desirable
- Experience using Git or other version control systems
- Familiarity with Agile / Scrum methodologies
