Tax Manager | Cambridgeshire Hybrid | £65,000 £85,000 + 10% bonus

Were supporting a successful client in Cambridgeshire looking for a Tax Manager to join their team. In this role, youll take ownership of managing tax functions across the business, with a mix of compliance, advisory and project-based responsibilities.
Youll be working closely with senior leadership and external advisors, helping to shape tax strategy while keeping day-to-day operations running smoothly.

What youll be doing:

  • Supporting senior finance leaders in shaping the tax roadmap and aligning priorities across the business
  • Leading on a variety of tax-related projects, working closely with external advisors to ensure timely and effective delivery
  • Overseeing the preparation and submission of corporate tax returns across multiple jurisdictions, staying ahead of regulatory changes
  • Taking ownership of indirect taxes including VAT, global sales tax and withholding tax, ensuring processes remain compliant and well-controlled
  • Identifying tax risks and opportunities, supporting the development of robust internal controls and compliance processes
  • Acting as a tax partner to wider teams, helping uncover commercial opportunities and flagging potential risks
  • Supporting the business in interactions with tax authorities, audits, and disputes coordinating with advisors as needed

  • ACA, ACCA or CTA qualified (or equivalent)
  • Experience and knowledge of global tax regulations, including VAT/GST, PAYE, transfer pricing, and corporate tax
  • Confident managing multiple workstreams and deadlines
  • A proactive communicator with strong attention to detail
  • Comfortable working across teams and building relationships with stakeholders

Youll be based in their Cambridge office 2 days per week, with flexibility for remote working the rest of the time.
