We are pleased to be working with a UK-wide construction business who are looking for an experienced Systems Trainer to join their wider IT Team. The successful candidate will be part of the team responsible for providing staff with the best possible systems training to ensure the efficient, dependable, and secure operation of vital systems across a large organisation.
Role:
- Design, create and arrange training sessions appropriate for all employees across the wider business.
- Work together with the Systems Training & Support Manager to schedule training sessions.
- Participate in the production and ongoing improvement of instructional materials and resources, including videos, manuals, and training exercises.
- Provide new system users with training, on-site coaching and support, and additional implementation support as necessary.
- Deliver scheduled and ad-hoc training courses and sessions both online and in person.
- Analyse training needs, and assist with any other needs that arise, including creating new programmes.
- Keep up to date with the companies’ key systems, gaining a quick understanding of updates and new systems when implemented.
- Maintain an excellent working relationship with the Business Systems Team to ensure efficient and quick knowledge/experience sharing.
- Travel regularly to the company's UK offices to deliver onsite training.
Knowledge and Experience Required:
- Ideally, 3+ years in a Systems / IT training-focused role.
- Good appreciation and grasp of business systems.
- Any understanding and experience of COINS would be great but is not expected.
- Great MS Office experience and knowledge.
- Knowledge of the construction industry would be advantageous but is not essential.
- Excellent Communication skills – Written and oral. Able to communicate effectively across all levels of the business.
- Able to work with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Full UK Driving License.
- Ability to travel on occasion to UK sites.
