A well-established SaaS company based in Huddersfield is looking for a hands-on SQL Developer to join its growing technology team. This is a great opportunity to join a successful, tech-first business where data sits at the heart of the products they deliver. You’ll take ownership of the data pipelines, models and reporting that underpin the platform, while helping shape the future data architecture. The role would suit a SQL Server developer, database developer, or a candidate experienced using T-SQL who enjoys end-to-end ownership, solving complex data problems and working across the full data lifecycle.
Role Responsibilities:
- Design, build and maintain scalable data pipelines
- Own the ingestion and processing of large national datasets
- Develop data models, reporting databases and analytical datasets
- Build automated data quality checks and monitoring
- Improve the performance, reliability and cost of data workloads
- Work closely with Product and Engineering teams on data requirements
- Support data governance, security and compliance
- Help shape data architecture and mentor other engineers
Requirements:
- SQL / T-SQL and data modelling experience
- Experience with SQL Server / Azure SQL
- Experience building and managing data pipelines
- Experience working with large and complex datasets
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
