We are recruiting on behalf of a leading UK housebuilder who are looking for a Programme Manager to join their Business Systems team.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Programme Manager to lead large-scale business and technology transformation programmes across a complex enterprise environment. Working across ERP, procurement, finance and operational systems, you will drive strategic transformation initiatives including ERP implementations, enterprise integrations, platform migrations and process improvement programmes. Acting as the bridge between business stakeholders, technology teams and third-party partners, you will ensure successful delivery through strong governance, stakeholder engagement and programme leadership.
Role:
- Leading large-scale business systems and technology transformation programmes across the business systems portfolio.
- Establish and maintain effective programme governance frameworks, controls and reporting processes.
- Managing multiple concurrent workstreams across business operations, enterprise systems and technology platforms.
- Owning programme governance, roadmaps, reporting, budgets and delivery plans.
- Producing Board, Executive and Steering Committee reporting.
- Coordinating Project Managers, Business Analysts, Architects, Technical Teams and third-party suppliers.
- Managing programme risks, issues, assumptions and dependencies, driving mitigation activities where required.
- Driving business change, stakeholder readiness, communications and benefits realisation.
- Supporting ERP, enterprise systems, digital transformation and integration programmes through to successful adoption.
- Work collaboratively with internal delivery teams, vendors, implementation partners and external stakeholders.
Experience Required:
- Significant Programme Management experience delivering large scale business and technology transformation programmes.
- Experience delivering complex technology projects and programmes, including ERP implementations, enterprise system migrations, software delivery, enterprise integration or digital transformation programmes.
- Experience with ERP, finance, procurement or enterprise business systems ideally.
- Strong understanding of programme delivery methodologies and governance frameworks.
- Strong experience managing multiple workstreams, technical teams and third-party suppliers.
- Experience operating between business stakeholders, technical delivery teams and executive leadership.
- Strong programme governance experience including Board-level and Executive reporting.
- Experience managing programme budgets, forecasting, cost control and benefits realisation.
- Experience managing RAID logs, dependencies, escalations and programme controls.
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication and reporting skills.
Desirables:
- Experience working within construction, housebuilding, property or the wider built environment sector.
- Experience delivering operational efficiency, cost reduction or process improvement programmes.
- Familiarity with Agile, Waterfall or hybrid delivery methodologies.
- Any Programme or Project Management qualifications would be beneficial (MSP, PgMP, PRINCE2, PMP, APM PMQ).
- Understanding of enterprise architecture, system integration and business systems landscapes.
Salary and Benefits:
