Your Mission
We’re looking for a Service Delivery Engineer to join our clients Satellite Service Delivery team, where you’ll play a key role in ensuring the seamless operation of cutting-edge satellite missions. From Launch to End of Life, you’ll provide technical leadership, systems engineering expertise, and problem-solving skills to keep our missions running smoothly. This is your chance to work on exciting space missions, ranging from Low Earth Orbit (LEO) to interplanetary exploration, supporting a variety of applications including Earth Observation, Communications, Navigation, and Science/Technology Demonstration.
What You’ll Do:
- Lead technical investigations into anomalies and service outages for in-flight missions.
- Monitor spacecraft and ground segment health, identifying and addressing potential issues.
- Work with Spacecraft Operations Engineers and Project Managers to ensure smooth transitions from LEOP and Commissioning into operational service.
- Support service improvements and technical studies to enhance mission capabilities.
- Manage and coordinate routine and non-routine orbital maneuvers.
- Provide expert analysis, root cause investigations, and resolutions for system issues.
- Mentor junior colleagues and contribute to knowledge-sharing within the team.
- Participate in on-call support as part of a rotating schedule.
What We’re Looking For:
- 2+ years of experience in Spacecraft Operations or Systems Engineering.
- Strong understanding of space and ground segment subsystems.
- Degree in Engineering, Physics, or Mathematics (or equivalent experience).
- Hands-on experience with orbit analysis, constellation configurations, RF link analysis, and system budgets.
- Familiarity with STK, Python, and other analysis tools.
- Ability to work autonomously, think critically, and solve complex technical challenges.
- Excellent communication, documentation, and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to support on-call work and occasional out-of-hours activities.
