We are supporting our client hiring for a Senior PIC Engineer (III-V) who develops next-generation networking technologies for AI/ML and high-performance computing.
They’re seeking a Senior Photonics Engineer to develop photonic integrated circuits (PIC), contributing to the design, simulation, layout and tape out of advanced photonic components.
- Lead the design and simulation of both passive and active photonic components.
- Develop, review, and maintain detailed technical specifications and design documentation across the supply chain.
- Contribute technical insight and analysis to inform product and technology roadmap decisions.
- Support test development, experimental validation, and data analysis for photonic devices.
Qualifications:
- PhD in Physics or a related discipline, with a focus on photonics, semiconductors, or optical communications.
- Minimum 3 years of industry or academic experience in photonics or a closely related field.
- Experience with epitaxial layer design for III-V materials using commercial or in-house tools.
- Proficiency in photonic layout and mask design tools.
