Project Lead Engineer | Space Science | Essex
At the forefront of technological innovation, our client is a global leader with a stellar reputation, specialising in the development of cutting‑edge. As a project engineer, you will be pushing boundaries in the development of cutting‑edge products for space sectors.
You will need to come from a multidisciplinary or System Engineering background to be able to oversee a variety of engineering inputs to the projects, providing technical direction to engineering projects on complex space systems.
Role / Responsibilities
- Deliver technical leadership and direction to the project team
- Gather requirements and build detailed plans
- Support throughout the project lifecycle with engineering governance and Engineering Management Plans
- Identify risks and opportunities and manage them accordingly
- Contribute to bidding activity
- Configuration control – product and project
Skills / Experience
- Wide‑ranging knowledge across multiple engineering disciplines
- Experience within a System Engineering function
- Degree in Electronics, Mechanical or related engineering discipline.
- Strong stakeholder management
- Technical documentation experience
