We're partnering with an Advanced Manufacturing business seeking an experienced Contract Manufacturing Planner to support a period of operational transformation and business improvement. Joining a fast-paced engineering and manufacturing environment, you'll play a key role in production planning, MRP optimisation, inventory accuracy and process improvement, helping to ensure materials and resources are aligned to production requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage production schedules and material plans.
  • Optimise MRP outputs and planning parameters.
  • Ensure material availability while controlling inventory levels.
  • Support inventory accuracy, stock takes and cycle counting activities.
  • Investigate planning and ERP data discrepancies.
  • Collaborate with Manufacturing, Engineering, Procurement and Supply Chain teams.
  • Drive planning, inventory and process improvement initiatives.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in Manufacturing Planning, Production Planning or Supply Chain Planning.
  • Strong understanding of MRP, production scheduling and inventory management.
  • Experience within engineering, manufacturing, automotive, aerospace or similar environments.
  • ERP experience such as IFS, SAP, Oracle, Dynamics or Epicor.
  • Strong analytical, Excel and problem-solving skills.
  • Able to quickly identify issues and implement practical improvements.
