We’re looking for an experienced Finance Assistant to hit the ground running in a 2/3-month contract role supporting a busy finance team at a leading automotive technology company near Wymondham.

The Role: As a Finance Assistant, you’ll help support the day-to-day financial operations, including:

  • Maintaining and reconciling sales and purchase ledgers
  • Preparing and submitting VAT returns
  • Posting journals and assisting with month-end processes
  • Performing bank and credit card reconciliations
  • Supporting the wider finance team with general finance and admin tasks

What You’ll Need:

  • Experience in a finance or bookkeeping position
  • Strong knowledge of core accounting principles
  • Proficiency with accounting software
  • AAT Level 3/4 or equivalent qualification
  • Excellent attention to detail and a proactive mindset

Contract Details:

  • Rate: £16–£20 per hour (Inside IR35)
  • Duration: 3 months Temporary Contract
  • Hybrid: 3 days per week onsite in Wymondham
  • Immediate start / start ASAP
