Our client, who are based on the outskirts of Norwich, are an established automotive technology company with a global client base. They are recruiting for a Graduate/Junior Mechanical Design Engineer to join their innovative R&D team.
You will be responsible for producing mechanical designs for a range of products and applications in 3D and 2D using SolidWorks.
Responsibilities:- Develop design concepts using 2D drawings, 3D models and prototypes.
- Produce engineering drawings, specifications, BOM structures, part lists and costings.
- Managing multiple design tasks at once.
- Work with purchasing on costings for parts.
- Essential: Relevant engineering qualification or demonstrable industry experience (via university, college, apprenticeship, or progressive roles in the sector).
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
- Genuine interest in the Automotive or Motorsport industries.
- Desirable: Experience using SolidWorks.
- Salary up to 32,000.
