Electrical Draughtsperson | £40,000 – £50,000 | Bath (Hybrid) | Automotive Technology
We are working with our client in automotive technology, who is seeking an Electrical Draughtsperson to assist their Electrical and Electronic Design Engineering team. As part of their flagship NPD project, you will assist the team in creating interface cabling for cable harness testing and transferring their electrical cable harness designs from an internal standard to an industry-recognised standard: IPC-620.

What will you be doing:

Converting internal standard wire harness drawings to IPC-620 compliance.
The construction of interface wiring to link a Cirrus cable tester to the cable harness mentioned above.

What are we looking for:

A seasoned draughtsman with at least an HND and appropriate experience will be taken into consideration.
Experience with AutoCAD LT for electrical CAD.
Skilled and knowledgeable in creating cable harness drawings that adhere to IPC-620 class 2 and higher.
The capacity to develop a design specification, prototype, and final release. For instance, the Cirrus cable tester’s interface cabling.

Salary:

~£40,000-£50,000
~3 days on site in Bath area
