3D Prop and Animation Artist | Advanced Engineering | Hampshire / Remote | £40,000 – £45,000 We are working with a leading Visual Technology and Engineering company based in Hampshire, seeking a 3D Prop & Animation Artist to join their team. In this role, you will be responsible for expanding and maintaining a high-quality 3D asset library, creating and rigging detailed models, and developing realistic animations using both motion capture and keyframe techniques. You’ll work closely with internal teams to integrate assets seamlessly into real-time environments. Key Responsibilities Develop, maintain, and optimize high-quality 3D assets for real-time applications. Rig and animate objects, including characters, vehicles, and environmental elements. Work collaboratively with internal teams to ensure assets are integrated seamlessly into projects. Assist in expanding and organizing the company’s 3D asset library. Ensure all assets meet technical specifications and run efficiently within the platform. Manage and maintain an animation database, incorporating motion capture data where required.Required Skills & Experience Essential: Expert knowledge of 3DS Max. 5+ years of experience creating real-time 3D assets for interactive environments. Strong understanding of 3D asset optimization and material management. Proven rigging and modelling expertise for characters and objects (e.g., pedestrians, vehicle passengers, animals, and common scene props). High-quality modelling, UV unwrapping, and texturing skills. Ability to work within deadlines and deliver high-standard assets. Experience in precision engineering, BIM, facilities, railway, surveying, mapping, or architectural visualization is highly beneficial.Desirable: Experience with large-scale asset library production. Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop & Adobe Substance suite. Passion for recreating real-life locations in 3D.Benefits & Package: Competitive salary (£40,000 – £45,000 depending on experience).
