ABOUT THE ROLE
The Langham, London; Europe’s first Grand Hotel, is currently recruiting for an On Call Host to join our talented Palm Court team. This is a ‘0’ / casual hour contract.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide a warm welcome and engage with all guests.
- Ensure that all guests are met and seated at the lounge in a timely and efficient manner.
- Ensure the Host desk is set for service every day.
- Process accurate billing for guests.
- Take accurate reservations.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Warm, confident and welcoming personality.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, engaging with our guests.
- Ability to manage and prioritise.
- Ability to multitask and assist on the floor when necessary.
- Have working knowledge of Micros/Open Table.
- Carry out administrative tasks when the need arises.
