We are looking for a part time (25 hours per week) admin/receptionist to join our brilliant office team who work together to support our team of vets. Are you passionate about providing exceptional client care and thrive in a fast paced, animal focused environment? We are looking for a part-time, friendly, organised, and confident Equine Veterinary Receptionist to join our team. In this pivotal front of house role, you’ll be the first point of contact for our clients, helping to support our clinicians and deliver a smooth, professional service to horse owners and their animals.

About the company: Langford Vets Stables Equine Practice is located in the beautiful Somerset countryside. As a subsidiary company of the University of Bristol, we are a commercial veterinary business operating across all animal species and disciplines, whilst also teaching the future generations of vets and nurses. About you:

  • Motivated, diligent, organised and efficient with a professional manner
  • Experience in using Microsoft Office
  • Administrative knowledge with an eye for detail
  • Effective time management skills, self‑motivated and enthusiastic
  • Able to use your initiative with a good level of numeracy
  • Adaptable in a fast‑paced environment and able to prioritise your work

  • An understanding and familiarity with horses and ponies
  • Previous experience in a veterinary environment is desirable
