Stores Person

Job Title: Stores Person Location: Dunfermline Company: Langfields Langfields Dunfermline has a vacancy for a new Stores Person who will be responsible for the receipt of materials and consumables, the organisation or current stock and the issuing of this stock/materials to the workshop. Candidates applying for this role should have experience working in a Stores based role within the Engineering and Fabrication industry. Specifically you will need to have experince handling stock of pipe and fittings. Tasks and Responsibilities: The Stores Person is responsible such as, but not limited to:- * Establishing a good working relationship with managers, supervisors, QC personnel, support staff and colleagues to ensure the efficient performance of assigned tasks. * Receipt and control of contract materials in accordance with Langfields QMS procedures. * Purchase and control of consumable items in accordance with Langfields policies, including welding consumables and gases. * Maintaining stock control and stock material register. * Maintenance of forklift trucks. * Pass all goods received documents to the Accounts Office. * Ensure incoming goods are received on time * Liaise with Engineering/Work Manager on stock levels (Consumables & Welding/Cutting Gases) * Good housekeeping both in store and materials stockyard * Any other duty which, from time to time, may reasonably be required to meet the needs of Langfields and is…
