We are currently seeking a skilled Fabricator to join our team in Salford. The ideal candidate will be experienced in metal fabrication techniques, possess a keen eye for detail, and demonstrate a strong work ethic. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on a variety of projects, contribute to the fabrication process from start to finish, and collaborate with a talented team of professionals.
Responsibilities
- Interpret engineering drawings and specifications to fabricate metal components accurately.
- Use a range of tools and equipment, including cutting, bending, and welding machinery, to shape and assemble materials.
- Ensure the quality and precision of fabricated components through careful measurement and inspection.
- Collaborate effectively with colleagues to optimize production processes and meet project deadlines.
- Maintain a safe and organized work environment, adhering to health and safety guidelines at all times.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Fabricator or similar role, with expertise in metal fabrication techniques.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings and specifications.
- Strong practical skills in using fabrication tools and equipment, such as welding machines, grinders, and drills.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality workmanship.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues and supervisors.
- Relevant qualifications or certifications in fabrication and welding (e.g., NVQ, City & Guilds) are advantageous but not essential.
