Here at Langdons, we have an amazing opportunity for a Transport Operator to join the team based in Barnsley. You will be working full time, permanent, 4 on 4 off days, and receive a highly competitive salary of £33,115.27 per annum plus excellent company benefits!

What you’ll be doing as our Transport Operator
- Build loads and plan routes efficiently and effectively
- Regularly review and update plans and communicate with all relevant colleagues
- Quote prices for movement of loads upon request
- Ensure all company systems are updated accurately and on a timely basis and relevant paperwork is in place
- Work closely with workshop colleagues to ensure resource requirements and service schedules are met
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records
What qualifications and experience are we looking for in our Transport Operator
- Qualified to Level 3 Supply Chain Operator or equivalent
- Experience of working in a team‑based office environment, preferably in a customer‑facing role
- Ability to compile, analyse and interpret relevant data
- Extensive knowledge and application of transport regulations and health & safety procedures

- Ability to use initiative and be organised so key tasks are completed fully and on time
