If so, our Warehouse Operative role is the job for you! Here at Langdons, we have an amazing opportunity for a Warehouse Operative to join the team based in Bridgwater (Showground Road). You will be working on a full time, permanent basis, working Sunday to Thursday nights, 02:30 to 12:00 and in return, you will receive a highly competitive salary of £30,077.19 per annum.

This is a fantastic role which will always keep you on the move! Your role will be to undertake allocated Warehouse-related duties in a safe, cost-effective and efficient manner.

What you’ll be doing as our Warehouse Operative?

  • Receive and check loads into the warehouse, ensuring all correct packaging and labelling is in place
  • Ensure all stock handled is secure and complies with relevant food safety standards
  • Operate assigned mechanical handling equipment to store and transport customer goods safely
  • Assist with assembling loads for despatch and onto vehicles
  • Conduct quality checks to ensure standards of cleanliness and hygiene levels
  • Take action to ensure any hazards are controlled or removed to ensure a safe working environment

What qualifications and experience are we looking for in our Warehouse Operative?

  • Up-to-date licence to use designated mechanical equipment
  • IT literate in Microsoft Office packages
  • The ability to compile, analyse and interpret relevant data
  • Extensive knowledge and application of warehouse, food safety rules and health and safety procedures
