Role Summary

Brimstone Hosts are passionate, energetic professionals dedicated to delivering exceptional, personalised guest experiences. As a Host, you will play a key role in the day-to-day operation of the hotel, acting as the first point of contact for guests, resolving enquiries and issues, and taking ownership of designated responsibilities. A passion for hospitality, attention to detail, and a commitment to going above and beyond are essential to delivering the luxury service standards that define the Brimstone experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver outstanding, personalised guest service throughout every stage of the guest journey.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for guest enquiries, requests, and issue resolution.
  • Take ownership of assigned operational responsibilities and contribute to the smooth running of the hotel.
  • Facilitate guest check-ins and provide tailored recommendations for local attractions, activities, and dining options.
  • Create bespoke itineraries and assist with special requests to enhance each guest's stay.
  • Maintain exceptional cleanliness and presentation standards with the support of our Housekeeping department.
  • Assist with breakfast service with the support of our Kitchen team and ensure a welcoming dining experience.
  • Restock and maintain the complimentary bar area to the highest standards.
  • Consistently go the extra mile to exceed guest expectations and deliver a luxury hospitality experience.

Working conditions

This role is based on-site at Langdale Hotel and Spa, Ambleside, LA22 9JD. Staff accommodation or relocation support may be available for exceptional candidates. All candidates must have the legal right to live and work in the UK at the start of employment.
