Are you a passionate hospitality leader who loves great pubs, great people, and great events? We’re looking for an experienced Pub Operations Manager to take the helm of our busy, high‑quality pub — combining fantastic food and drink with an exciting live events calendar. This is a hands‑on leadership role for someone who thrives in a fast‑paced environment, inspires teams, and delivers exceptional guest experiences every day.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Guest Experience
- Making every guest feel welcome, seen, and valued
- Leading service standards that reflect our brand and personality
- Handling guest feedback with confidence and care
- Leadership
- Coaching and motivating your team, including the Deputy Manager and Supervisors
- Driving a positive, high‑performance culture
- Recruiting, training, and developing future talent
- Live Events & Entertainment
- Planning and delivering a vibrant calendar of events: live music, quizzes, sports screenings, and more
- Managing performers, suppliers, and community partners
- Ensuring every event boosts revenue, footfall, and guest satisfaction
- Full responsibility for the pub’s P&L
- Hitting GP, labour, and revenue targets
- Leading weekly reporting, forecasting, and budgeting
- Driving sales through great experiences, upselling, and smart promotions
- Operations & Cellar Management
- Maintaining outstanding beer quality and cellar standards
- Overseeing stock control, POS systems, deliveries, and compliance
- Ensuring a clean, safe, and well‑maintained pub environment
What We’re Looking For
- Proven management experience in pubs or high‑volume hospitality
- Strong people leadership skills
- Financially confident with good commercial awareness
- Experience managing events or entertainment (advantageous)
- A natural host with great energy, personality, and communication skills
