Role summary
We are seeking a reliable and organised Kitchen Team Leader to support the smooth operation of our Stove Restaurant Kitchen, supervising our team of Kitchen Porters. Working alongside our Head Chef, this role is essential in maintaining high standards of food safety, cleanliness, and stock control.
Key Responsibilities
- Leads and supports a team of Kitchen Porters.
- Goods receiving food and non-food stock, managing quality, dates and damage.
- Follow the Food Safety Management System to ensure correct stock rotation of fridges, freezers and stores.
- Ensure all kitchen equipment is functioning properly and schedule maintenance as needed.
- Record and process supplier invoices and credit notes using the procurement system, ensuring accuracy and accountability for cost of goods.
