Role Summary: Our Finance Assistant supports day-to-day accounting activities, ensuring financial data is accurate and up to date. The role requires a meticulous, detail-oriented individual who can handle data with patience and care. Responsibilities include assisting with routine accounting tasks, maintaining records, and supporting the wider team. A reliable and supportive approach is essential to help ensure smooth financial operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support a range of accounting tasks, including: Purchase ledger, Sales ledger, Credit control.
- Manage workload effectively to meet tight financial deadlines.
- Use Microsoft Excel to maintain and process financial data.
- Provide support to the wider team and finance function across the organisation.
- Ensure accuracy and attention to detail in all financial processes.
- Communicate effectively with colleagues across a diverse organisation.
- Contribute to efficient day-to-day operations within a small accounts team.

Working conditions: This role is based on-site at Langdale Hotel and Spa, Ambleside, LA22 9JD. This is a live-out position, relocation support may be available for exceptional candidates. All candidates must have the legal right to live and work in the UK at the start of employment.
