Role Summary: Set against a backdrop of breath-taking scenery, the Langdale Hotels (Brimstone and Langdale) offers guests a choice of 68 immaculately presented hotel bedrooms for our guests to enjoy. Our Estate Housekeeping team are responsible for caring for these rooms along with the hotel’s public areas, and they take pride in the work that they do. The high standards of our hotel rooms are a big reason why people return to our hotel time and time again, making this role crucially important to the happiness of our guests.
Key Responsibilities:
- Clean and service guest rooms to a high standard, ensuring they are tidy, welcoming, and ready for guest arrival.
- Maintain cleanliness and presentation of all public areas throughout the estate and hotel.
- Deliver friendly, professional, and attentive customer service to guests and residents.
- Adhere to housekeeping standards, procedures, and quality expectations at all times.
- Restock and maintain housekeeping supplies and cleaning equipment.
- Monitor inventory levels and report shortages when required.
- Report maintenance issues, damages, or safety concerns in line with company procedures.
- Follow all health and safety, hygiene, and sanitation policies and protocols.
- Ensure all areas are visually organised, clean, and well-presented.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues and provide support to other departments when needed.
- Respond flexibly to changing business needs and undertake additional duties as required.
- Contribute to a positive guest experience by maintaining exceptional cleanliness and service standards.
- Help ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the hotel and estate facilities.
