The predicted salary is between 950 - 1167 £ per month.

We are now looking to appoint a Kitchen Porter to report to the Executive Chef and ensure the cleanliness of the kitchen areas. As Kitchen Porter you will provide exceptional support to our team of chefs in order to provide the highest level of service to our visiting guests.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the cleanliness standards of the kitchens, storage areas, wash-up areas, back corridors, canteen and goods entrance areas
  • Daily cleaning, deep cleaning and sanitising the kitchen as required and directed by the Executive Chef
  • Operating the dishwashing machine effectively and safely
  • Controlling stock levels of the kitchen cleaning materials, including cloths, bin liners, mop buckets and detergents
  • Supporting the property with ensuring any materials and waste is recycled correctly
  • Helping with vegetable preparation or other occasional food preparation as requested by the Executive Chef

Qualifications / Experience

Our kitchen porters are an integral part of our kitchen brigade to ensure our kitchen remains clean, hygienic and safe. You will have worked previously in a similar role and will ideally have worked in a high quality Four-Star or Five-Star hotel. You will have the ability to work well with others to represent the Company and the hotel in a passionate, loyal, professional, and knowledgeable manner. You will have a strong work ethic, good timekeeping and the ability to multi-task whilst working in a pressurised environment.
