  • Ensure full compliance with the Children’s Homes Regulations and deliver consistently high quality care.
  • Inspire, guide, and develop a motivated staff team through strong leadership and reflective practice.
  • Manage budgets, resources, and the home environment to a high standard.
  • Safeguard young people and work closely with families, professionals, and external agencies.
  • Drive continuous improvement and ensure the home’s Statement of Purpose is fully embedded in daily practice.

What we’re looking for

  • Extensive experience in children’s residential care management.
  • Strong understanding of legislation, safeguarding, and regulatory requirements.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
  • NVQ/QCF Level 3 Diploma for the Children’s and Young People’s Workforce (or equivalent).
  • QCF Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management in Residential Children’s Services, or willingness to complete this as part of the role.
