About the Role
Are you a motivated, detail-oriented individual looking for an exciting opportunity to develop your career in finance? We’re looking for a Junior Financial Controller to support our growing finance team. As a Junior Financial Controller, you’ll play a key role in assisting with all aspects of financial accounting, from day-to-day financial transactions to month-end reporting. This is an excellent opportunity for a newly qualified finance professional who is eager to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced, ever-evolving industry.
Responsibilities
- Assist with the preparation of monthly management accounts and financial reports.
- Support with the budgeting and forecasting process.
- Maintain accurate financial records and help ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations.
- Process and review financial transactions, including accounts payable and receivable.
- Assist with VAT returns, bank reconciliations, and payroll queries.
- Collaborate with the finance team to ensure smooth and efficient financial operations.
- Work closely with senior finance professionals to drive continuous improvement in financial systems and processes.
- Provide ad-hoc financial analysis and reporting as required by management.
Qualifications
A recently qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA, ACA, or equivalent) or an Apprentice Level 6 or 7.

- Strong understanding of financial principles and practices.
- A keen eye for detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
- A high level of proficiency in Excel; experience with accounting software is a plus.
