Our client is a Tier 1 D&B Contractor operating predominantly in the water industry who have been awarded a programme of work to deliver non-infrastructure water and wastewater projects for United Utilities. They are recruiting for Civil Section Engineers to help deliver these projects throughout the North West.
Reporting to the Sub-Agent, you will be part of the Site Engineering team ensuring the effective planning, control and delivery of engineering activities on site. You will provide accurate setting out, technical assurance, quality control and safety leadership across construction operations, supporting the project team to achieve right-first-time delivery in line with design, programme, budget, and industry standards.
The role is fundamental in ensuring works are executed safely, accurately, and efficiently, while contributing to continuous improvement and innovation.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Lead the setting out and dimensional control of works, ensuring accuracy and compliance with design specifications.
- Maintain and manage survey equipment including calibration and routine checks.
- Maintain accurate as-built records, surveys, and drawings.
