Position: Principal Electrical ICA Engineer br br Apply below after reading through all the details and supporting information regarding this job opportunity. br br Location: Essex, Hertfordshire or West London br br Salary Guide: £80,000 - £85,000 Plus Bonus, Car/Allowance Excellent Package br br Our client is a Tier 1 D B Contractor operating predominately in the water industry, who are delivering a significant proportion of Essex Suffolks AMP8 programmes of clean and wastewater non-infrastructure projects. br br They are looking to recruit a Principal EICA Engineer for this key framework who can be based from offices in either Chelmsford and with remote or hybrid working also available. br br Responsibilities will include: br br Produce design layouts which are cost effective, meet the requirements of the specification and which can be constructed and commissioned effectively. br Ensure that standard practices are utilised wherever possible. br Provide estimates and feedback for Proposals department. br Work to procedures and processes to ensure the continuing development of the department. br Assist in developing and monitoring procedures and processes. br Write, update and monitor efficient procedures to aid the smooth running of the department. br Ensure coordination of designs with all other disciplines internal and external in order to ensure that the design processes carried out on the contract are co-ordinated for the benefit of the contract as a whole. br To work within a culture where satisfying the customer is recognised as the key to achieving other objectives, and that customers include everyone receiving benefit from our processes, whether end users or other departments within the company. br Maintain a personal development plan. br Assist in supervising and developing staff. br Assist in ensuring a safe working environment for all staff. br Reduce waste to a minimum from all departmental activities. br Ensure designs take account of environmental issues. br Ensure that design takes full regard of all health and safety requirements. br br Skills, Qualifications Experience: br br Strong understand the principles of water and sewage treatment. xjlbheb br Experience of managing members of staff in designing relevant discipline aspects of water and sewage treatment plants br Full Membership of a professional institution and Chartered Engineer br Preferable: Relevant discipline Engineering degree in Electrical or ICA br Minimum: Relevant discipline Engineering HND with extensive suitable experience. br Ability to rationalise designs and produce economic plant layouts br Good general knowledge of all aspects of water treatment, e.g. mechanical engineering, process engineering, electrical engineering and project management br A flexible mind, with the ability to assimilate large amounts of different data at one time br Ability to present technical proposals clearly, confidently and convincingly br Computer literacy br The ability to get to all site and office locations within the region
