About the role: The Lanes Group needs a Van Pack Engineer to join our Operational Team in Leeds working with a well established team that are looking to expand further with another strong member of staff. Location: Leeds Hours: Monday to Friday 45hours per week Salary: up to £16 per hour depending on experience What we offer: 21 Days holiday plus Bank Holidays Uncapped earning potential. Pension Death in service As a Van Pack Operator, you will be: Attending to customers, informing them of works due to be carried out and answering any concerns Inspect drainage systems to identify blockages, leaks, or damage that could hinder water flow. Reporting all findings / data to the appropriate teams Assisting with all aspects of high pressure water jetting Operating high-pressure water jetting equipment to clean and clear blockages in drains, sewers, pipes, and other wastewater systems. Adjust pressure levels based on the condition of the system and the nature of the blockage (e.g., grease, debris, or tree roots). Use the equipment to remove waste materials and prevent build‑up in drains and sewer lines. Competent in using an electronic device - laptop / tablet for data entry purposes Ensuring safety issues are reported in line with company procedures Perform routine maintenance and servicing of high‑pressure water jetting equipment to ensure it is in proper working order. Assist with CCTV inspections where required to assess the condition of underground pipes and sewers.
