What you'll do

  • Lead and supervise a team of jetting operatives to ensure efficient and safe execution of jetting operations.
  • Plan and coordinate daily jetting schedules, ensuring optimal resource allocation and timely completion of tasks.
  • Conduct site assessments to determine the most effective jetting methods and equipment required for various drainage issues.
  • Monitor and maintain jetting equipment, ensuring it is in good working order and compliant with safety regulations.
  • Train and mentor team members on best practices in jetting techniques, safety protocols, and equipment handling.
  • Liaise with clients and stakeholders to provide updates on project progress and address any concerns or queries.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, conducting risk assessments and implementing safety measures as needed.
  • Maintain accurate records of jetting operations, including equipment usage, team performance, and any incidents that occur on site.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless integration of jetting services with overall project objectives.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a supervisory role within the utilities or drainage sector, with a focus on jetting operations.
  • Strong knowledge of jetting equipment and techniques, including the ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a diverse team.
  • Familiarity with health and safety regulations related to drainage and jetting operations.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with team members, clients, and stakeholders.

  • Valid driver's license and the ability to travel to various job sites as required.
