About the Role:
Due to vast company growth, Sapphire Utility Solutions – now part of the Lanes Group – are looking for an experienced Mobile Fleet Engineer to join our growing and thriving Fleet team. Our dedicated Fleet department services and ensures the smooth running of a large fleet of vehicles such as HGVs and Vacuum Combination units.
Location: Andover based, covering the South of England. A company vehicle will be provided.
Hours: 50 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
Salary: £50,000 per annum
Overtime: Paid at x1.5
Responsibilities – but not limited to:
- Attending company depots conducting routine repairs and servicing of all group assets.
- Attending fleet breakdowns to carry out any new defect or running repairs.
- On-site diagnostic and fault finding.
- On-site plant and vehicle appraisals.
Experience and qualifications required for the role:
- NVQ or equivalent in Heavy Vehicle repair is desirable but not essential.
- Experience working with tanker equipment – Whale/Bucher/Muller etc.
- Full UK Driving Licence with no more than 6 penalty points.
- HGV 2 Licence.
- Flexibility – Hours of work may vary due to business needs, on-call services, and nights away required.
