The predicted salary is between 34269 - 38542 £ per year.

Location: Liverpool covering Merseyside

Hours: 42.5 hours per week (based on a 26 week rota)

Salary: £34,269-£38,542 per annum base salary (depending on experience)

On the job earnings: £35,000-£55,000 per annum with overtime

Overtime rates: Weekday, weekend and Bank Holiday work paid at time and a half

About the Role

The role is based in Liverpool WWTW alongside a United Utilities Customer Support Technician, working on the Bucket 1 reactive contract to solve problems on the sewer network. This is a shift-based role with working times of 8am to 6pm for the front shift and 12pm to 10pm for the back shift. Weekends and Bank Holidays are included.

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with a CST (UU Operative) to clean, camera and carry out sewer investigations as directed by United Utilities.
  • Attend to customers, inform them of works to be carried out and answer any concerns as well as timescales.
  • Inspect drainage systems to identify blockages, leaks, or damage that could hinder water flow.
  • Carry out all aspects of high pressure water jetting.
  • Operate high-pressure water jetting equipment to clean and clear blockages in drains, sewers, pipes, and other wastewater systems.
  • Carry out CCTV inspections where required to assess the condition of underground pipes and sewers.
  • Be competent in using an electronic device (laptop/tablet) for data entry purposes.
  • Report safety issues in line with company procedures.
  • Perform routine maintenance and servicing of high-pressure water jetting equipment to ensure it is in proper working order.
