What you'll do
- Collaborate with department heads to define hiring needs and develop tailored recruitment strategies that align with business objectives.
- Utilize various sourcing techniques, including social media, job boards, and networking events, to identify potential candidates across diverse platforms.
- Conduct thorough interviews and assessments to evaluate candidates' skills, experience, and cultural fit within the organization.
- Manage the full recruitment lifecycle, from job posting to offer negotiation and onboarding, ensuring a seamless experience for candidates.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with external recruitment agencies and other talent sources to enhance our recruitment capabilities.
- Analyze recruitment metrics and trends to continuously improve our hiring processes and strategies, ensuring we attract the best talent available.
- Organize and participate in job fairs and recruitment events to promote Lanesgroup and engage with potential candidates directly.
- Provide training and support to hiring managers on effective interviewing techniques and best practices in recruitment.
- Foster a positive candidate experience by maintaining clear communication and providing timely feedback throughout the hiring process.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in talent acquisition to ensure Lanesgroup remains competitive in attracting top talent.
- Champion diversity and inclusion initiatives within the recruitment process, ensuring a broad and varied candidate pool.
- Collaborate with the HR team to enhance the overall employee value proposition and ensure alignment with organizational culture.
Requirements
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in talent acquisition or recruitment, preferably within the construction or infrastructure sectors.
- Proven track record of successfully filling a variety of roles, from entry-level to senior management positions.
- Strong understanding of recruitment best practices and the ability to implement innovative sourcing strategies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with candidates and stakeholders at all levels.
- Proficiency in using applicant tracking systems (ATS) and other recruitment tools to streamline processes and maintain accurate records.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret recruitment data and make informed decisions based on metrics.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- A degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
Nice to have
- Experience in employer branding and developing recruitment marketing strategies.
- Familiarity with labor laws and regulations related to recruitment and employment.
- Previous experience in a corporate recruitment environment, particularly in a high-volume hiring setting.
- Knowledge of digital recruitment tools and platforms, including social media recruiting.
- Certification in HR or recruitment (e.g., CIPD, AIRS) would be an advantage.

- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and other relevant software applications.
