What you'll do

• Supervise daily operations on construction sites, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and best practices.
• Coordinate with project managers to establish project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
• Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, identify potential issues, and implement corrective actions as necessary.
• Lead and motivate on-site teams, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
• Maintain accurate records of site activities, including daily logs, incident reports, and material usage.
• Liaise with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
• Ensure that all work is completed to the required quality standards and in accordance with project specifications.
• Provide training and guidance to site personnel on safety protocols and operational procedures.
• Participate in project meetings, providing updates on site progress and addressing any concerns raised by stakeholders.
• Manage site budgets, tracking expenses and ensuring that projects remain financially viable.
• Resolve conflicts and issues that arise on-site, acting as a point of contact for all site-related inquiries.
• Promote a culture of health and safety, conducting risk assessments and implementing safety measures to protect all personnel.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Site Supervisor or in a similar role within the construction or infrastructure sector.
• Strong understanding of construction processes, safety regulations, and quality standards.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide diverse teams.
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, to liaise with various stakeholders.
• Proficiency in project management software and tools, with a solid grasp of budgeting and resource allocation.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Relevant certifications in health and safety, such as NEBOSH or IOSH, are highly desirable.
• A valid driver's license and willingness to travel to different project sites as required.
