About the role
Sapphire Utility Solutions are seeking a Lining Operative to join the team and to grow and progress their career in the utilities sector working for a growing company.
Location: Leyland
Hours: 50 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 7am-5pm.
Salary: Up to £13.50 per hour, depending on experience

Responsibilities – but not limited to:
- Working on the back of cutting unit assisting and learning how to use and maintain the cutting unit
- Working with patching and lining teams to pick up various repair methods so they can move around the teams and eventually run a van across all contracts (Training will be provided)
- Setting up traffic management (Training will be provided)
- Confined spaces entry (Training will be provided)
- Risk assessments and updating work packs
- The operative will be expected to be flexible picking up overtime if required and the occasional weekend
Experience and qualifications desirable required for the role:
- To be flexible in their working approach
- To be able to cover long distances by foot
- The desire to progress within the company
- Knowledge of utilities and traffic management (not essential)
- Full UK driving license, with no more than 6 points.
