About the role

As an IT Experience Coordinator at Lanesgroup, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing the technological experience of our employees and clients. This position is integral to ensuring that our IT systems are user-friendly and efficient, allowing for seamless operations across the organization. What you’ll do

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for IT-related inquiries and support requests from employees, ensuring timely and effective resolution of issues.
  • Conduct regular assessments of IT systems and tools to identify areas for improvement and enhance user experience.
  • Collaborate with IT teams to develop and implement training programs aimed at increasing employee proficiency with technology.
  • Gather feedback from users regarding their IT experiences and communicate findings to relevant stakeholders for continuous improvement.
  • Maintain documentation of IT processes, procedures, and user guides to facilitate knowledge sharing and training.
  • Assist in the onboarding process of new employees by providing them with necessary IT resources and training.
  • Monitor and analyze IT service metrics to identify trends and areas for enhancement, reporting findings to management.
  • Coordinate with external vendors and service providers to ensure that IT solutions meet organizational needs and standards.
  • Support the implementation of new technologies and systems, ensuring that they align with user requirements and enhance operational efficiency.
  • Organize and facilitate workshops and seminars to educate staff on best practices in IT usage and security.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders to understand their IT needs and challenges.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to recommend innovative solutions that can benefit the organization.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in an IT support or coordination role, preferably within a corporate environment.
  • Strong understanding of IT systems, software applications, and hardware components.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey technical information to non-technical users.
  • Proven problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to addressing IT challenges.
  • Experience in conducting training sessions or workshops for employees on IT-related topics.
  • Familiarity with IT service management frameworks, such as ITIL, is highly desirable.

Nice to have

  • Certifications in relevant IT fields, such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft Certified Professional.
  • Experience with project management methodologies and tools.
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity principles and best practices.
  • Previous experience in a customer service-oriented role.

Skills & tools

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and other productivity tools.
  • Familiarity with helpdesk software and ticketing systems for tracking IT support requests.
  • Basic understanding of networking concepts and troubleshooting techniques.
  • Ability to work with various operating systems, including Windows and macOS.

  • The salary for this role is competitive and commensurate with experience.
