We are currently recruiting for Reinstatement Manager to join our team, delivering exceptional customer service and innovative operational solutions across the East Midlands.

Working Hours & Location

Working hours: 47.5 hours per week, with a weekend rotation approximate every 7 weeks.

Key Responsibilities

  • You will have operational responsibility for the reinstatement teams and their in-day activities.
  • Organise labour in the most cost-effective way, including recruitment, disciplinary action, wages, and absence management.
  • You will manage all other resources e. g., sub-contractors, materials, and plant.
  • Assist with carrying out team briefings with teams, on a monthly basis.
  • Assisting in coaching and developing staff to reach their potential. Ensure a fair and consistent culture with the teams.
  • You will help to assist the defect programme and ensure that KPIs are met and client meetings and council meetings are attended.
  • Assist in carrying out documented audits, checking quality of the work and coaching teams/individuals to ensure the right behaviours are always exhibited.
  • Liaise with the Support Services and Streetworks Team to ensure that FPN and Section74 liabilities are managed
  • You will be required to assist the reinstatements manager by being a Health & Safety Representative, which will include undertaking health & safety inspections in and around the workplace, raising health & safety related matters with management and investigating reportable accidents or incidents as and when they occur.
  • Covering all aspects of reinstatements, including black top and white top.

About You

  • Possess previous experience of supervision within the Waste Water Industry
  • Hold a full UK driving license
  • This role is about managing people; prior managerial experience is essential. We aspire to get the best out of all our employees and you will be key to this.
  • Excellent organisational skills, capable of managing multiple tasks.
  • Exceptional customer service skills.
  • Have excellent time management skills, with ability to deliver tasks to deadline.
  • Strong leadership qualities with the ability to motivate and guide teams towards achieving targets.
  • A proactive approach to problem‑solving with a focus on achieving results.
  • Proven experience in a previous Supervisor Role within the Utilities Sector – preferably in the Drainage Industry.
